Juventus will be facing strict competition from Inter Milan in the race to sign Torino star Gleison Bremer when the summer transfer window opens for business in the next coming months. The Brazilian star has improved his game impressively at the Turin club and has since started to attract the attention of potential clubs across Europe. Juventus have been tipped to sign the defender and they currently are the most likely destination for the player as reports continue to make the rounds that the Old Lady could be losing star defender Matthijs de Ligt at the end of this current season. Signing Bremer could look like a very easy thing for Juve to do but as a matter of fact, according to Calciomercato, it won’t be that easy, with Inter entering into the fray.
Chelsea are said to be keen to sign de Ligt as they fear losing Germany international star Antonio Rudiger, with the defender refusing to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge. If that happens, it would be a clear pathway for Juve to sign another defender in the summer but the only problem they would be having is the fact that Inter are also interested in the player.
Juve believe that Bremer has been developing his game impressively and view him as a potential candidate to replace de Ligt perfectly. There could be a bidding war between the two clubs and the one with the higher offer might eventually win the race.
